Hyeseon Hong and her jazz orchestra will perform at the Jersey City Jazz Festival on Friday, May 30 from 12:30–1:30 PM at Exchange Place Plaza in Jersey City. Produced by Riverview Jazz, the festival has grown into one of the largest jazz festivals in the New York tri-state area, presenting performances across Jersey City and along the Hudson River waterfront. The free festival features multiple stages, family-friendly programming, local vendors, and sweeping views of lower Manhattan. Matt Panayides will appear with the orchestra as part of an afternoon performance featuring original music that blends contemporary big band writing, improvisation, and Korean musical influences.
